We are Michael and Dina Sussilleaux, principals of The Sussilleaux Team at Compass.  We are experienced real estate brokers specializing in New York City residential real estate in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.  With almost 40 years of combined experience, we have a proven track record of success for our clients.

Our journey began almost 20 years ago when we decided to break away from the conventional path and create our own unique approach to the industry. We knew that in order to truly stand out from the pack of mediocre brokers, we needed to deliver an unparalleled level of service, expertise, and commitment to every single client.

We achieved our goal and crafted a model of client service coupled with behind the scenes expertise in property analysis, market trends, effective marketing, negotiation skills, and even the psychology of the factors that affect buying decisions and the natural stress associated with such large financial transactions.  Our methods were so effective that we were recruited to teach our techniques in formal new agent training classes.

As co-principal of The Sussilleaux Team, Michael works closely with his wife and partner Dina.  Together their skills and talents complement one another, and enable a level of service unobtainable by a single individual.

Having closed hundreds of transactions in the New York City Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate markets, Michael has always strived to raise the bar in customer service:

A graduate of Cooper Union with a degree in Engineering, Michael went on to work in the aerospace industry, complete two Masters degrees, start a successful small business, and serve as a technology consultant prior to a senior management role on Wall Street.

As a specialist in the acquisition, marketing and leasing of townhouse, cooperative, and condominium properties, Dina delivers her sage counsel and trusted representation with a truly heightened real estate experience.

Dina is extremely meticulous and offers a smart, solution-oriented, and responsive approach.  In leveraging her extensive background on Wall Street, she is highly proficient in researching and analyzing current market data and educating her clients on the local trends within the market. 

Dina’s clients enjoy her vivacious spirit and highly tenacious resolve.  When working with sellers, she implements targeted, marketing applications that clearly accentuate each property’s specific features and skillfully elevates each listing’s visibility by utilizing professionally produced photography together with a presentation in print and on multiple internet sites.

When working with buyers, she carefully listens and diligently aligns and applies herself so that she may locate a residence and distinguished setting that meets their lifestyle requirements.
